(o i 1) 1 If a person is sick with mucus (suālu): in order to remove it: you squeeze out fresh-green 'dog tongue's plant,' [you press (its juice) into pursītu-vessel?]2 You add crushed (var. roasted) mustard(kasû) into it, mix it. He will drink it and then he will remove (it) either through his mouth or his anus and he will get better.

(o i 4) [Alternatively:] his tongue will take water and oil, he shall continuously drink it.

(o i 5) [Alternatively:] you make an infusion with ground cress(sahlû) and pulverised mustard(kasû). He eats it with oil and honey (and) drinks pork meat broth. [You cover him with a cloth.]3 You light fire in front of him. He will purge (his intestinces) through his anus and will get better.

(o i 8) If a person is sick with mucus (suālu): you boil fresh-green 'dog tongue's plant,' like (you boil) turnips(laptu). You mix it with sweet milk and filtered oil. He will drink it without dining and will get better.

(o i 10) Alternatively: you pound seeds of dried buṣinnu-plant, he drinks it in warmed, boiling sap of mustard(kasû) without dining, he will vomit and get better.

(o i 12) Alternatively: you place a lump of emēsallu-salt in his mouth, he chews it (and) swallows its liquuid. He drinks thick pork-meat broth. He (then) drinks beer and honey. You keep on repeating (this therapy) on him for three days and he will get better.

(o i 14) Alternatively: you crush white plant in premium beer, honey and filtered oil (= an infusion). Without dining his tongue will take (it). You make him drink beer and boiling honey. You let him vomit with a feather and afterwards he shall eat (the infusion) with honey an ghee. He shall (also) drink sweet wine and will get better.

(o i 17) If a person is seized by mucus (suālu). You dry up and grind the tiny bit within a shell. He shall drink it in filtered oil (var. oil and beer), and he will get better.

(o i 19) Alternatively: you pound with a pestle kalguqqu-mineral, cedar, ballukku-aromatic, seeds of šurdunû-plant, sweet reed, groats, cress(sahlû), atāʾišu-plant, juniper(burāšu), kammantu-mushroom, resin of baluhhu-aromatic [drugs...] in fat from the kidney of a male sheep ... you take glowing-red charcoal ... huruppu-disch ... you place a reed-straw into it and he will suck it into his mouth ...4 If a person is sick with mucus (suālu): [...s] He keeps drinking it [in ...] and [will get better.]5

(o i 28') [Alternatively?:] you crush [...] in filtered oil [...]. You let him drink it [in ...].

(o i 30') [Alternatively?: ...] he keeps drinking it in water without dining. [...] He licks it [in honey?] and will get better.

(o i 56') [If a person, ditto: you boil water and beer in a small coocking pot. You cruch into it either ... or crushed cress(sahlû). He shall drink it without dining and get better.]

(o i 58') [If a person, ditto: you crush? date peel with fat of a black pig ... he eats it without dining. Afterwards, you let him drink beer and boiling honey. You make him vomit with a bird feather, you ... the wind and the heat ...]

(o i 61') [If a person, ditto: you pound tuškû-mineral, add it in premium beer, and boil? it in an oven. When it starts boiling you take it out and add into it honey and filtered oil. It should be boiling hot-without dining you make him drink it, let him vomit and he will get better.]

(o i 64') 8 If a person is sick with mucus (suālu): you pound white plant, crush it in filtered oil, honey and premium beer. Without dining his tongue shall take it, you make him drink it, make him vomit. And then you boil water in a bowl, you pound mustard(kasû) and make infusion into it. Without dining he shall drink it and then he will get better.]

(o ii 3) 9 If a [person, ditto: you pound?] together [shoots of aṣuṣumtu-plant ...] ...-plant [ ... illūru-plant, mustard(kasû), shoots of ...-plant ...] shoots of [...-plant ... shoots of 'kid's ear'-plant (uzun lalê). You mix it in a liguid?, heat it up in an oven?] You take it out (of the oven). [You let him drink it without dining and he shall get better]10

(o ii 8) If a person [is sick] with mucus (suālu): [you pound? asafoetida(nuhurtu), mix in a liquid?] Without dining [you make him drink it and he will get better].

(r i 27') 18 If a person [has a dry cough, but cannot discharge (mucus) ... his saliva ... In order to heal this: you pound together unrnû-plant and gazelle] droppings. [He will drink (the medication) in beer, and will get better.]

(r i 30') [Incantation: O suālu, suālu, suālu. Strong is his grip. He set up his throne midst of the lungs. Go away, this is not your dwelling! Of the constriction, coughing, and mucus(suālu), may Gula, mistress of health destroy your roots! Incantation spell.19

You boil it over a fire. You place a reed straw. He sucks it into his mouth boiling-hot, and it will crush into his lungs, and he will get better.]
