8 Weidner (1941–44 : 187–9 ), followed by Hunger (1968 : no . 93 ), restores here "Hand of Anu-ah-ušabši , son of Ina-qibit-Anu , son of Anu-uballiṭ , descendant of Ekur-zakir ", on the basis of parallels with the colophons on TCL 6 , 4 , 7 and 35 (for the latter see below ). But these all show that Anu-ah-ušabši was writing tablets for Anu-ah-iddin's father Nidintu-Anu , not Anu-ah-iddin himself , in the period SE 97–99 . Patterns of copying and apprenticeship amongst the scholars of Seleucid Uruk (Robson 2008a : 256–60 ) suggest that an 18-year gap is unlikely . The dating of this tablet may fit better with Šamaš-eṭir , son of Ina-qibit-Anu , son of Šibqat-Anu , who was also a descendant of Ekur-zakir , incantation priest of Anu and Antu , and scribe of Enūma Anu Ellil and was active in SE 117 (Robson 2008b).
