1This is the first line of Zarpanitu 1. The other side shows an unclassified Ashurbanipal colophon on the last lines of what is left of the reverse. It's hard to imagine what short text could have preceded this first line of the prayer. Thus, it seems this is the first line of the tablet's obverse.

2The restoration follows what is suggested in K.3429+ (= P395006), where it reads AN BAD = {d}Enlil. See also CAD Š/2, 442 and Ṣ, 215.

3The restoration is tentative. I am not aware of any Ashurbanipal colophons that include a reference to this kind of prayer. A restoration suggested on eBL reads: [... BULUG₃?].GA₂-MEŠ-šu₂ (accessed, August 29, 2024), but this is also unattested in the colophons.
