Mighty [. . .], son of En[lil],

[. . . whose] onslaught cannot be opposed,

Whose (celestial) po[si]tion is resplendent (among) the great gods,

In Ekur, the house of celebrations, your head is high.

[Enlil], your father, gave you,

Executive power over all the gods; it is held in your hand.

[You] pass judgment upon the people.

You secure justice for the misguided, the orphaned boy and girl.

You take the hand of the powerless, you [. . .] the helpless.

You return the body (lit. his body) of the one being made to descend into the netherworld.

You forgive [. . .] of the one who has incurred guilt.

[. . .] to the one whose (personal) god (and personal) goddess are angry [. . . ].

O Ninurta, foremost of the gods, yo[u] (are) the hero.

I (am) Sîn-šar-iškun, son of his god,

whose (personal) god (is) Ashur, (and) whose (personal) goddess (is) Ashuritu.

I have set up a ritual arrangement for you. I have str[ewn] flour for [you].

I have libated sweet ale for you, be[er] made from (lit. of) grai[n].

May the god[s of the (Path of) Enlil] stand with you.

May the gods, [. . .] of Ekur, stand with you.
